Dr. Frank K. Gürkaynak visits TalTech for knowledge transfer on ETHZ’s RISC-V PULP platform and to initiate discussions on T4.2 joint research topics, as well as identifying sustainable research avenues with TalTech researchers. This visit is co-located with his participation in the TAICHIP Kick-Off Meeting. Dr. Gürkaynak gives an invited talk to TalTech students and participates in TalTech podcast recording, aiming outreach to general public in Estonia and Europe.

Sharjeel Imitiaz spent a week at ETH Zurich with the PULP Platform team through the TAICHIP Twinning Project, diving into RISC-V toolchains (GCC, LLVM, Spike, Verilator) and exploring advanced cores like CVA6 and ARA. Also discussed security implications for Linux-capable SoCs such as Cheshire and platforms like CROC, aligning with his research on assertion-based security verification of Processors for future collaborations.
