TAICHIP held its 2nd Summer Workshop "Edge AI and Emerging Technologies" on June 9-11, 2026, at Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France, hosted by the Institut des Nanotechnologies de Lyon (INL). Over three days in the Skylab building, project partners, INL and LIRIS researchers, PhD students from Lyon and Naples, and visiting students from the University of Notre Dame presented work on edge AI accelerators, ferroelectric devices, hardware security and reliability in emerging technologies. A panel on the use of AI in research and teaching took the discussion beyond chip design.
The workshop closed with TAICHIP consortium and technical meetings on June 11, 2026.
