TAICHIP invites Estonian companies and the wider chip design community to the TAICHIP "Chip Design" Industry Day on Friday, October 9, 2026, at Tallinn University of Technology. Speakers include Michael Randt, founder of TRINAMIC Motion Control, on building and exiting a fabless chip company, Anton Klotz (Fraunhofer EMFT) on the Bavarian Chip-Design-Center, Edmund Humenberger (Symbiotic EDA) on open-source EDA, and Fabian Vargas (IHP) on open PDKs and MPW access. The day ends with a moderated discussion on the Estonian chip industry. Participation is free of charge.
The Industry Day is co-located with the IEEE Baltic Electronics Conference (BEC 2026) in Tallinn on October 6-8, 2026, where TAICHIP runs a Special Session on October 8.
